King of the Hill Wines was established in 2002. The Winery is named after its physical position on the top of Old Willunga Hill, overlooking the McLaren Vale.

Small fruit blends from single vineyards are used to produce optimum, quality, boutique style wines.

The wines are traditionally styled and hand crafted, expressing true attention to detail.

These wines are designed to express the characteristics of the higher altitude, cooler region. Typically, the grapes are picked up to four weeks later than fruit harvested on the lower plains. The result of the longer ripening is intensive, graceful wines.
