History

The Pridham wine history in Australia commenced in 1967 with Ursula and Geoffrey opening the original Marienberg Winery in Coromandel Valley, just south of Adelaide.

Their winery developed a reputation for charismatic wines. Ursula, with her European heritage, is recognised as one of Australia’s most famous female winemakers.

Developing beautiful wines and bringing up three boys kept the family busy. Lance is the youngest of the Pridham sons and has committed himself to continuing the tradition under his own label, King of the Hill Wines.
